What are Friends (Connections)

For example, most members private photo albums are only viewable by their friends.
Also, on the KiwiMessenger system (that little face-book type bar at the bottom of every page) you can only chat to your online friends.

When your friends requests get rejected, its normally because you have either not uploaded a profile picture, have an uncompleted profile, have few photos' or albums or simply haven't read the members profile to see if you match what they are looking for. Don't take it personally but make sure that you have at least done the above before you next ask for a connection.

Friends Options

There are a number of ways that you can get new friends or manage your existing friendships.
You can

• View your existing friends and cancel any friendships you no longer want
• Search to narrow down the list of people you might want to become friends with
• Invite real life friends to join the community
• See which friends requests you have sent out which haven't yet been accepted (and cancel the request if you no longer want them as  friends)
• See who has requested a friends connection with you (and accept or reject the request)

A members friends are listed on their profile, so its easy to see if you have any friends in common.

Search - the easy way to find new friends

There are many different ways to find new friends on the website. 
However, there are thousands of members on the site to go through. And even if you do find some you like, those members may not live anywhere near you or you may not be what they are looking for.

The easiest way to narrow down the number of choices is through the online search tools provided on the site.
Just click on Search, select your criteria and view the results
