In any community, sharing of information, thoughts and ideas are essential to growth and well being of the community.
This is the place where you can ask other members for help, for their views...where you can debate an idea or get an opinion from the community.

This is different from interacting one-to-one with members, since all activity is shared with the WHOLE community e.g ANY member can read your blogs and comment on them

Blogs

Blogs are the core mechanism through which we share our personal thoughts, ideas and opinions with the community
Think of a blog almost as a personal diary which other members can read and comment on.

Blogs are for opinions only and should be used when you want to discuss ideas where there is no clear-cut right-or wrong answer

Opinion Polls

Opinion Polls are a simple way for you to provide the community with an idea of what people like, want or think.
Generally opinion polls take the form of a question with a number of answers which you can choose from. Simple, quick and easy....but they make for interesting reading!

Groups

Groups are simply a collection of like minded people who share a common interest, such as biking or tattoos. Anyone can create a new group.
Joining a group and viewing the shared content is dependant on the group type (public or private).

Public Full Chat

Our public full chat system is a fully-featured, flash based online video and text chat system.
Chat features include:

multiple chat rooms
picture sharing
private messaging
webcams

Shoutbox

You will most likley already have seen the shoutbox on the homepage. This is simply a limited version of the FULL chat system.
Anyone usingh the shoutbox to chat will have their username prefaced by SB_ to differentiate them from full chat users.

One-on-one communication tools

e-Cards

E-Cards are electronic greeting cards that you can email to friends. They will receive the e-card in their email but can only view the card by clicking on the link contained in the email. Note that the link WILL direct you to www.kiwiklub.com, so think carefully before you send an e-card to someone that doesn't know about your lifestyle .

Gift Exchange

At the gift exchange, you can purchase gifts and send greetings to members. All purchases are done using your Karma points and any gifts you sent to other members will appear on their profile as a gift from you. Its a nice fun way to interact with other members.

KMAIL

KMail is our private messaging (PM) system. It enables you to send private messages to other members which only they can read, and to which they can reply directly to you.
Its like our own online email system!

Free members can still send 2 KMAILS per day (excludes KMAIL sent to Moderators)

KiwMessenger

KiwiMessenger is our one-to-one realtime chat system and is pretty similiar to the Facebook chat bar.
You can find the KiwiMessenger chat bar at the bottom of every page.
